MSA1000 performance: nominal speed

Hi all, i noticed advisory here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=110&prodSeriesId=377751&prodTypeId=12169&objectID=c00859596

and an output of "show config detail" tells every disk in every box is working at 160 MB/s

I know MSA1000 supports Ultra320 DISKS, but i don't find the nominal speed at which should work.

if anyone will be able to report an MSA1000 working at 320 or can tell me where to find maximum speed of the controller, wins. :-P

Re: MSA1000 performance: nominal speed

What you see is completely fine.

The MSA1000 controller module runs at U160 maximum - it is SmartArray 5-based. A U320 disk drive will negotiate its interface speed down to U160.
