MSA2000G3 SAS Management Ports
Two questions:
1) Only one management port of the two is active, with that one you can access the SMU. Both of them are using a unique fixed IP adresss in my situation. Can you force the MSA (by CLI or SMU) to use the standby management controller instead of the active, or is a failover the only choice ???
2) The management is default Auto-negiotated i presume. Is it possible (by CLI) to adjust the parameters of the management port ???

Re: MSA2000G3 SAS Management Ports
Both Management controllers (mc) are active always.
Regarding the network:
Syntax set network-parameters
[dhcp]
[ip address]
[netmask netmask]
[gateway gateway]
[controller a|b]
[ping-broadcast enabled|disabled|on|off]
[link-speed 10mbps|100mbps]
[duplex-mode full|half]
[auto-negotiation enabled|disabled|on|off]
[prompt yes|no]
[noprompt]
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
