SNMP IP range

I am trying to add IPs in SNMP ACL.. but webtools only gives me an option to enter 6 IPs. Is it possible to add more?

Hi,

Neither does your question...!

Letting people know what product you are using would be a good start.

Re: SNMP IP range

since i am refering to webtools, its quite obvious it is a brocade switch. Firmware is 5.3.0d.

Re: SNMP IP range

hi,

AFAIK this is not possible , the agent only supports 6 entries.

Re: SNMP IP range

I specify xxx.yyy.zzz.0 for my address and it appears to cover the whole subnet. In fact from the CLI the entry shows up as:

Entry 0: Access host subnet area xxx.yyy.zzz.0 (rw)

so it's pretty clear Brocade intends these top be subnet, not host addresses. Don't know if this will help you or not...

Re: SNMP IP range

i agree with Mark Hunt. it is simply not possible to add more than 6 entries.

Re: SNMP IP range

I agree about six entries, but each entry could be an arbitrarily large subnet.
