Log in into HP MSR 1002-4AC (JG875A)
Welcome!
Important details at the begining. I work on Win 8.1, ma laptop doesn't have COM port, has got only USB, Ethernet and HDMI ports.
I would like to open the Webinterface of my rotuer by ethernet cable but I can't. I used to router IP adress from manual (192.168.1.1/24).
When in comand line I checked the default gateway the line is empty. The same situation was after the hard reset of the router. I also turned off the antivirus and Windows firewall.
I don't have any more idea how I can get into the Web interface of the router which I need to setup output IP from my Internet comapny.
Thanks for any help!

You need to leave off the "/24" when you enter the IP address. That "/24" is the netmask setting that defines your subnet.

I have also tried with 192.168.1.1 and the problem still exists...

What is the IP of the laptop? It must be in the range "192.168.1.*".
(You need to run ipconfig in a cmd window.)
>When in command line I checked the default gateway the line is empty.
Windows command prompt? This may be the problem. Mine is 192.168.1.1, the IP of the router.

Re: Log in into HP MSR 1002-4AC (JG875A)
I have tried also with manual configuration. I put the IP of my laptop (192.168.1.10), after that i put the mask number, and the default gateway as the IP of the router (192.168.1.1).
Windows comand prompt? What does it mean that it could make a problem and how to resolve it?

Of what, where?
>Windows command prompt?
You said "When in command line" and I was asking if this was the Windows command prompt.
Why do you think there is a EWS in the router at all? The specs don't seem to mention one:

Re: Login to EWS of HP MSR 1002-4AC (JG875A)
Yes, when I used "comand line" I thought about the "Windows command prompt".
I used the manual configuration in the properties of the TCP/IP v.4
I've just found this manuals, but my problem is that I couldn't use other solutions, because my laptop doesn't have COM port so I couldn't use right now other type of conection than log in in webinterface...
That's why I asked on forum. If I could log in I would do other things, becuase it isn't first router with which I work. Problem is in fact, that I couldn't log in and I stay in the same point for 3 days.

Re: Login to EWS of HP MSR 1002-4AC (JG875A)
If you don't have a com port on your pc, you can always get a RS232 com port to usb serial adapter. This will come in handy for those times when you need to connect directly into the console/aux port of the router.
Something similar to this:
As for access to the router itself, via the Ethernet port, open up the Windows command prompt window and type in the following command and press the enter key.:
telnet 192.168.1.1
