Procurve 4000m help

Hello,

I have a 4000m switch and I have set up 2 VLAN's on it. I have a PC attached to VLAN A and it picks up IP address from DHCP on VLAN B. If I set it with a static address to VLAN A, it works fine. The VLAN's are crossing because I cannot ping devices on VLANB from VLAN A and vice versa. But for some reason DHCP does broadcast across to VLAN A from VLAN B's DHCP server.

Any suggestions on what I can look at or is this expected behavior?

It could be a dhcp relay agent.

Hi I don't have a relay agent but thanks, it's a good point. I think it may be misconfigured VLAN somehow but I'm not sure.
