2610 - Multiple RADIUS hosts order of preference
Hi,
Is there a way to have multiple RADUIS hosts, but prefer one over the other? At the moment it appears hosts are preffered in numeric order of the host IP address.
We have about a dozen 2610 edge switches with port authentication and I want to split up the load between our 2 domain controllers, but still have both hosts for redundancy.
e.g. On half the switches i would like this...
radius-server host 10.0.0.1 key abc
radius-server host 10.0.0.2 key abc
And the other half in the opposite order...
radius-server host 10.0.0.2 key abc
radius-server host 10.0.0.1 key abc
But that doesn't work. When I put in the 10.0.0.1 host after the 10.0.0.2 host, the 10.0.0.1 goes to the top.
Any suggestions?

Re: 2610 - Multiple RADIUS hosts order of preference
hi,
Unfortunately this option (precedence, priority, server ID, etc.) is not available on E-Series product line. This could be intersting but you should contact support for an enhancement.
Bye.
