Upgrade to PCM+ 3
Hello,
i just upgraded from PCM+ 2.3 to 3.0
After that i can not login to PCM with the local client.
It stops with the message " waiting for login" and nothing happens further more.
It works with the remote client, but after i added the license for V3.0 no remote client connections are accepted anymore.
any ideas ?
regards
Stephan

Re: Upgrade to PCM+ 3
Try uninstalling the old PCM client on your PC and rebooting. Then install the new PCM client from scratch (http://yourserver:8040). This worked for us.

Re: Upgrade to PCM+ 3
Solution from HP Support has fixed the Problem:
In the client lib directory (local and remote clients) "C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\PNM\client\lib" delete the following files:
tree.jar
accessmrg.client.jar
cfgmrg.jar
discovery.client.jar
fwu.client.jar
maclockout.client.jar
maclockout.common.jar
portmirror.client.jar
portmirror.common.jar
usbautorun.client.jar
Then simply start up the agent again, and log in. The correct files will be downloaded from the server.
