My first question is where is configured on the sistem a mac address 0xd8d385f65f3c ? i don't find it.

this is a configuration of apa on my server:

nwmgr -g -S apa
Class    Mode        Load      Speed-               Membership
Instance             Balancing Duplex
======== =========== ========= ==================== ===========================
lan900   LACP_AUTO   LB_PORT   2 Gbps Full Duplex   38,36
lan901   LACP_AUTO   LB_PORT   2 Gbps Full Duplex   39,37
lan902   Not_Enabled LB_MAC    0 Mbps                -
lan903   Not_Enabled LB_MAC    0 Mbps                -
lan904   Not_Enabled LB_MAC    0 Mbps
Can me explain LACP_AUTO, LB_PORT ?

if a lan36 go down, in this situation lan900 stay up at how many speed?

Thanks a lot

Re: Apa mac address

Hi,

From apa man pages:

LACP_AUTO: Used for link aggregates on HP servers that are connected to a switch that has aggregation (trunk) configured with IEEE 802.3ad (LACP) protocol.

Configuration files:

/etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaconf

/etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaportconf

For more info, read the HP Auto Port Aggregation (APA) Administrator's Guide
