CAN NOT DELETE NFS FILES

A k370 server with hpux 10.20 just have been reinstalled, I mean, the OS was reinstaled due a disk failure, since that, tha nfs service doesn´t not allow to delete files from windows created in unix,

I can create, modify, even delete files created from windows in the unix directory, and aslo I can see and modify files created from unix but I can not deleted.

I have configured several times a nfs service with out any problem, I only have problems with this especific server and only after reinstall the hole OS, before that the nfs was allowing deletes.

any idea?,
I really aprecciate any help, thanks!.

Re: CAN NOT DELETE NFS FILES

Sounds like a permissions issue...is the NFS directory mounted read-only perhaps?

Re: CAN NOT DELETE NFS FILES

the sharing is through samba i guess.. if it so .. check smb.conf.. how is the sharing configured.. is it USER / DOMAIN Based.. verify the smb.conf..

Re: CAN NOT DELETE NFS FILES

Hi Fernando:

Could you post your /etc/exports and explain what's the NFS export you experience problems?

Maybe your export needs some parameters.

Besides, could you explain how do you mount your NFS on windows?

Regards.
