nash11 > You´ll need to purchase MC Service Guard from your HP dealer. It is not a simple solution because as you described, it is designed to automatically switch to another machine. But there are many, many failure modes: LAN, CPU, memory, disks, even applications, all of which require redundant elements both in each computer as well as supporting devices such as network switches, etc. It makes no sense to have the computers fail over to each other when a simple switch or router can disable everything. A reliable ServiceGuard environment requires a significant amount of design.
