Cron service startup 1 hour different from the system time

Hi, I have a rp3440 with hpux 11.23, and when the server startup the cron service startup with an hour difference from the system hour

Fri Sep 21 02:42:40 EDT 2012

 

 

! *** cron started *** pid = 22202 Fri Sep 21 01:38:21 MDT 2012

 

I check the time zone and I have it the way I supposed to

TZ=MST7MDT

 

any clue what chould be happening??

It's not really an hour difference, it's just the wrong time zone.  :-)

Is this in /etc/TIMEZONE?

Yes, the timezone is set to

TZ=MST7MDT

export TZ

Was it changed recently?  I.e. after the system was booted?

You may have to change the kernel parm timezone(5) to match.
