D-LINK printeserver with 2 ports

Hello,

i have a D-LINK (DP-100) print server with two printers connected (printer, plotter) and want to set up remote lp on HP-UX 10.20.
How do i differentaite the two ports ?

Hi,

you have to look for the names of the ports:
telnet
Choose (2) PortConfiguration
Choose (1) Port 1
record the Port Name and do this also for Port 2
When setup the remote lp:
For the Remote System Name type in your ip address of the printserver
and for the remote Printer Name type in the Port Name you just recorded.
