DHCP client license
The dhcpclient was refused an extension for the current lease. The system must cease using the DHCP for management of the network interface.
I have tried eveything I know but cannot get the DHCP services to permit the server to access the web. Any ideas on what I ned to do to solve the problem

Re: DHCP client license
Assuming this is HP-UX, there is an interface in SAM that permits this setup.
Sam
Network
You should see a tab for DHCP configuration.

Re: DHCP client license
Tks for your update, I g=have the SAM set for DHCP, this server was brought into Malaysia from the US and I reset the time zone etc. I was successfully connected & using DHCP services to access the net. Then the server lost power and upon reboot I got the error ref the dhcpclient lease problem. Its got something to do with the dhcp not getting released & then renewed. I have tried all I know to delete the dchp config and .data files etc but cannot get the DHCP clien services to restart. Any furher ideas you might have would be helpful
