Downgrading OEs in HP-UX11i v2 not supported?

I've seen documentation on the HP site that explains how to downgrade from one OE (MC, for example) to another (Foundational) in HP-UX 11.11, but haven't found equivalent instructions for 11.23. Is downgrading the OE on 11.23 supported? I thought I'd ask rather than assume that the process was the same...

You cannot for 11.23 :

"Update Path Notes
You cannot downgrade to a lower level Operating Environment, for example, from Enterprise OE (EOE) to Foundation OE (FOE).

You cannot update between server Operating Environments and technical Operating Environments."

Perhaps a good question is why would you want to do so?
