Exclude users from Password Policy

I am either blind or stupid (probably both), but I have been unable to find a way to exclude specific users such as root and service accounts for Oracle from the security policy. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

Re: Exclude users from Password Policy

Easist way:

Accounts Users

Pick the account.

Modify Security policies.

Exempt the account from aging or other annoying policies.

Re: Exclude users from Password Policy

You can also user /usr/lbin/modprpw to modify the policies for an account.

If you have HP-UX 11i then you should actually have the modprpw man page available for reference.

I have done this, but it does not seem to exclude the account from the password policy. Either that or I have another issue going on. Is there a daemon associated which needs refreshing?
