Filesystem Limitations in Linux 7.0

Does anyone have any idea how to allow Linux filesystes to handle files larger than 2GB?
I sense much NT in you. - NT leads to Bluescreen. - Bluescreen leads to downtime. - Downtime leads to suffering. - NT is the path to the darkside. - Powerful Unix is.

You should be able to upgrade your kernel to 2.4.x and take advantage of large file support in ext2. I am not sure if this is a patchable option in 2.2 or not. I am also not sure if this works in reiserfs yet.

64 Bit systems like alpha do not suffer from this problem, so if you are running alpha linux you don't have to worry.
