Getting Samba problem

Hi Guys,

I know the basic requirement to access unix server from windows need ,
1) samba serives should be up.
2) NT/per account should be exist on unix server.

insted of that , can u suggest for.

is there any another way to access samba, if personal account does not exists on unix server,
It should not ask username and password, while accessing \\unixserver\accountname

In smb.conf, "guest account" and "guest ok" are the parameters that will allow a share mount with no password required. But you'll have to enter a guest account name. Alternatively, you can use "security = share".
