How Do I Install Perl5.6.1 on Hp-UX 10.20

I downloaded a binary version of perl.5.6.1 from hpux.connect.org.uk.
Tried
1) copied perl5.6.1....depot.gz (also tried gunzip it) to /var/spool/sw
then used sam and also swinstall
but it wont find any depos

Change the "depot" source to "TAPE", then enter in the full path to the depot.

Did you ftp it to directly Unix box ?? If not while doing ftp use bin, for binary version..It might have copied as ascii format

specified Dir as Local Directory
software depot path as : /var/spool/sw/perl.depot
