SolutionYou can add a JetDirect printer using the JetDirect's IP as a printer queue.
The printcap should look like this:
lp:
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/lp:
:mx#0:
:sh:
:rm=192.168.0.4:
:rp=raw:
and this is the filter :if=/var/spool/lpd/lp/filter:
In smb.conf input line
load printers = yes
and make a folder [printers] ...... see man smb.conf
About Intel Print Server tell me more info.

Re: How cupture port for HP JetDirect and Intel print server?
Nevertheless I prefer the method described in previous message - just to set the IP (or hostname) of our jetdirect in /etc/printcap.

Re: How cupture port for HP JetDirect and Intel print server?
Using this, I have been able to successfully connect to Axis, Intel and HP Jetdirect boxes. All the boxes support LPR printing.
