How to Install Mozilla Browser

I want to install Mozilla firefox browser in HP UX v2. Please tell me how do i download it on HPUX machine..need step by step guidelines..Pls do not give me links i have tried alot...Will definitely entertain with points... :)

Go to http://www.hp.com/go/mozilla and download both the mozilla browser and the GTK libraries if you don't have them already. Then it's simply a matter of using swinstall against those downloaded depots.

Frnds, i want to download them on Unix terminal, not in my windows machine. How can i download via the link that u provided? What is that command?

For EG: In Linux we have YUM to download files n install.

You mean you have no browser at all available on your unix machine? Usually at the very least Netscape is installed. Look under /opt and see if you don't have a netscape, mozilla or firefox directory.

Alternatively you can download the mozilla or firefox install files on your windows or linux browser and ftp the downloaded file(s) to your HP-UX server. You then use swinstall to install the downloaded files.

Then you will need to follow the advice from TTR: download on your windows machine and ftp to your unix box.

Hi:

I agree with everything that has been said thus far. You really need FireFox. You really need to download to your PC with its browser and then FTP the depot to your UNIX box for installation.

You need the GTK libraries as you found. Get everything you need here:
