How to block mail from lp user to other user

One user depadm getting lot of mails everyday from lp@localhost.
In crontab no such job, /etc/aliases no entry for depadm. We want to stop that mail.
Could anyone please help to do the same.

verify this file.

Hi,
is there anything hardcoded into the entry for the printer in /etc/lp/interface ?
You could add an alias in the /etc/aliases sending lp to /dev/null.
I assume you have checked that nothing is running with lp -m option.

Somone wrote a script or jetadmin has been configured to send the mail.

Blocking the mail is a workaround. Figuring out where it came from and making it stop is better.

Every job that is cancelled wil send an email to the owner - in your case depadm.

HP is working on a patch to lp to disable this (I know as I will be testing it as I requested it).

If you don't need any email for depadm, just zero out their mail file every now and then...
