Re: Ignite server Configuration steps..

Srinu,

Also you are going to need the ignite software, would be best if you are working with the latest release.

Re: Ignite server Configuration steps..

Srinu,

Did you install and configure the ignite server on a different network?

If you did, try downloading the latest version of ignite to machine that is on the same subnet as the machines you want to install.

Also, very important, you need an image of a machine to be able to install it into the other machines first.

Please read the documentation given above.

First install ignite server.

Second follow the steps to create Golden Image in doc provided above.

Third, do installation to other machines.

You can also create a make_tape_recovery and then used to install the other machines if they have very similar HW architecture.

Regards,

Jaime.

Server is in same subnet.
server ipaddress is:161.85.104.191.

Re: Ignite server Configuration steps..

Shalom again,

You need to slow down.

Your networking in /etc/rc.config.d/netconf is apparently not correct. That needs to be corrected prior to any other Ignite steps.
