Ignite server Configuration steps..
I want to install 6 New hp machines.Can you please tell me the Ignite server Configure steps.

Also you are going to need the ignite software, would be best if you are working with the latest release.

I installed the ignite on one of my hp server.whenever give the following command it's giving following error..
gateway network not found.
Retrying load file command..
Error:Failed to read "INDEX" file from install server chk with install server ipaddress is correct and server has ignite server loladed and is availble to via ftpd(1) services.
delete net default:gateway 161.85.104.1 no such a file or directory.
Please find enty the /etc/initd.conf
tftp dgram udp wait root /usr/lbin/tftpd tftpd\
/opt/ignite\
/var/opt/ignite
bootps dgram udp wait root /opt/ignite/lbin/instl_bootd \
instl_bootd
#bootps dgram udp wait root /usr/lbin/bootpd bootpd

login stream tcp nowait root /usr/lbin/rlogind rlogind
FYI.
i want to install hp11.11i .
I selected 'from CD/DVD'(not 'copy from CD/DVD')in the setup.(i didn't copy coreOS to harddisk.

Did you install and configure the ignite server on a different network?
If you did, try downloading the latest version of ignite to machine that is on the same subnet as the machines you want to install.
Also, very important, you need an image of a machine to be able to install it into the other machines first.
Please read the documentation given above.
First install ignite server.
Second follow the steps to create Golden Image in doc provided above.
Third, do installation to other machines.
You can also create a make_tape_recovery and then used to install the other machines if they have very similar HW architecture.

You need to slow down.
Your networking in /etc/rc.config.d/netconf is apparently not correct. That needs to be corrected prior to any other Ignite steps.
