Latest CIFS install problem

hey all.. i'm trying to upgrade our cifs on a machine using 11.11.. but it says software depencdies for 5 products cannot be resolved, the command im using is

swinstall -s /tmp/B8725AA_A.02.03_HP-UX_B.11.11_32_64.depot B8727AA


here is the result:

If these two depots are pre-installled or even part of the same installation depot it will work.

ok great, ive installed both of those.. did a swinstall -x reinstall=true on cifs, but now when i run startsmb i get

root on a504 >>> startsmb

startsmb[7]: 4531 Abort
Unable to start smbd & nmbd!

again ->

root on a504 >>> startsmb
nmbd is already up at 21:48:19, process id: 4544.
startsmb[22]: 4560 Abort

Unable to start smbd!

and looking at my processes->

root on a504 >>> ps -ef | grep smbd

root on a504 >>> ps -ef | grep nmbd

shows only nmbd, what could be wrong?

So what i've done so far is uninstall samba and reinstall it as well as the 2 packages above, although it says those 3 out of 9 couldnt be installed for the krb5 (listed in my last msg) ...

when i ran samba with a default cfg i can see my server within my windows network just as "samba a504" , but if i use my old smb.conf, it seems to panic.. so.. i used the default, then tried to share just one directory and it still panics ->
