Patch Bundle Install
I'm installing June 2006 patch bundle for HOUX 11.i OS. After the reboot a couple of things occured during startup
swagentd daemon failed to start and ;lan interfaces failed to start.
when I logged into the server the prompt says root @ unknown instead of the server name
All of the services failed to start as well because it could not resolve the host name.
Any suggestions? All are welcomed and appreciated.

Re: Patch Bundle Install
Shalom Regina,
Well if you installed it in Linux (see original thread) I can see why you have issues. :-)
Check /etc/hosts, the presence and contents of /etc/nsswitch.conf for inconsidtencies.
This behavior normally occurs due to a hostname of more than 8 characters in /etc/rc.config.d/netconf
If that is not the cause of the problem, seriously consider backing out the Patch set.
