Shalom,

Based on the fact that two different tools have failed to solve the problem, I recommend:

1) Check for a firewall blocking the port the font server is listening on. Probably port 7000

2) From a Linux box or with putty configuration log on to the system with a -X parameter and re-run the xclock test.

Hi Pedro.


In the Task Bar, in the icon of the Xming you can look to the log.

Second bottom of the mouse in the icon of Xming -> view log.

See if have any good information.

Attach the log.

The X server runs on your Windows system.
Nothing in that "ps" output is related.

Could be related.

That should tell you if the HP-UX system can
talk to the X server (at 10.98.202.223),
whichever one you run.
