Restricting access for ftp user to specified work area

I need to create an ftp user which will only be able to write to a specified work area and not be able to cd to any other path. I've read about the ftpaccess but can't seem to get this to work on HP-UX 10.20 - is this specific to HP-UX 11.0?

Your help on the above would be much appreciated.

Yes, unfortunately ftpaccess is not available on HP-UX 10.20.

You perhaps should look at using 'chroot' and
'wu_ftpd'

You can wu_ftpd from the HP porting centre.

Hi Managed Services,
what you want can only be achieved by ftp configuration via ftpaccess, which is only supported in 11.xx (where it works excellently).
