Running HP-SNMP-Agent as non-root

Running HP-SNMP-Agent as non-root

As part of PCI certification, I need to audit everything that the root user is doing. As you can imagine, the hp-snmp-agents are generating a crazy amount of data. Is there any way to make the agents run as a non-root user?

I have the same issue to deal with.  Did you find a way to run the agents as a non-root user?
