I tried going to Maint & Support - Standard patch bundles but they all start with 11.x
So I went to Maint & Support - Find patches for unsupported systems and the most current there were 9.x?
Is 10.20 the HP equivalent of Windows NT? That is, the govt still uses it but nobody wants to support it?
Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Re: So how do you get a list of 10.20 patches?
You can see what is currently installed on your system with:
# swlist -l fileset |grep PH
You can still download patches for 10.20 from
ftp://192.151.52.14/hp-ux_patches/s700_s800
ftp://192.151.52.14/hp-ux_patches/s800

Re: So how do you get a list of 10.20 patches?
I expected to see a PHNE_22506 in the list for 10.X. An earlier post (swinstall) told me that PHNE_22507 (which I had been trying to install on my 10.20 700 box) was for 800 boxes and that I should be using 22506 on my 700 10.20 box.
So now I know where to go to download a patch. That's great. But do you know where I go to find out what patch fixes what problem. Like a problem to patch cross-reference?
Thanks for your help,
Linda

Re: So how do you get a list of 10.20 patches?
You will have to download cpm_collect.sh script from the below found URL.
ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/export/bin/cpm_collect.sh
execute this script in the system. It will produce an output file.
http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/addUpdateSystemsPage.do?BC=patch.breadcrumb.main|patch.breadcrumb.assess|
Upload the file to the above URL and run the assessment.
It will analyze the patches installed in your system and will lis the recommended patches.

Solutionhttp://www.itrc.hp.c
Patch Database -->
Find Individual Patches: HP-UX
system type: s800
operating system: 10.20
Then change the search type to Browse Patch List or enter a keyword to search for.
Click on the patch from the search results and you will see what problems it fixes.
The problem with 10.20 being obsoleted is that you will not find access 10.20 patch bundles any longer on most download sites.
