System shuts down just like that
Hi,
no upgrade nor physical hardware was changed. It had no problems and all of a sudden the systems are going down. onyl thing in console i see is
Even i am seeing the same problem. all i get is
# Sep 14 09:48:58 rpcbind: terminate: rpcbind terminating on signal. Restart wit
h "rpcbind -w"
Sep 14 09:48:58 /usr/sbin/envd[1717]: terminated by signal 15
Shutting down machine, please wait.
Shutdown complete.
sync'ing disks (0 buffers to flush):
0 buffers not flushed
0 buffers still dirty
Closing open logical volumes...
Done
VFP displays
E indicates error since last boot
LEDs | LOCATOR | SYSTEM | POWER
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
| OFF | FLASH RED | FLASH GREEN
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
System Power is Off.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Status | Fatal System State detected. Check System Event Log (SL) for error
| messages.

"Fatal System State detected. Check System Event Log (SL) for error messages."
The system's advice is good. Check the System Event Log of the management processor. Switch the log to Text mode when viewing it; the default is usually Keyword mode, which is rather terse.

Check the last event. It may due to a hardware problem. Is your server Clustered ??
