Hello All,
While going through the lun_map outputs I found , 4 out of 8 paths are on stand by for a lun. Is it possible to activate all the paths and advisable? How the performance will be? We are using HP P6000 virtual Storage.
Please advise.

SolutionThis is 100% OK, because the P6000 (EVA) works with ALUA, so only the owner controller works with a certain LUN. The server is aware of this fact and handles the other controller as standby for this certain LUN.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: To active all the multipaths, HPUX 11.31 with HP P6000 virtual Storage
Thanks Torston. I apologize for delay in my reply.
For the DRD disk, it is showing 7 paths instead of eight and also state is unopen. Is it because I have kep my DRD deactivated or there any other reason for that?
