Using Glance - HP-UX 11.31

I was told that Glance was installed as the base OE and was free to use, and that Glance Plus was a billable item...

I figured we would try the base Glance product first, but when I try to use it I get a license error:

=> which glance
/opt/perf/bin/glance
=>ls -al /opt/perf/bin/glance
-r-sr-xr-x   1 root       bin        1358580 Oct 18  2010 /opt/perf/bin/glance
=>/opt/perf/bin/glance
ERROR : license error :The entity is not licensed.
=>

Anyone know if the base Glance is free to use and what could be cause of this error ??

You were told wrong. Glance and/or GlancePlus Pak are not licensed in the Base OE. See the table at the bottom of the page here:
