What is ^Ecf

I finished using GSP at the system console and entered CO to get the login prompt back, but it didn't come back. I notice earlier that I may have to enter ^Ecf to get write access to the console. What key is ^E?

Re: What is ^Ecf

you have to push the control key, and e key at the same time, then c and f key.
So if you push the ctrl ecf, then you have control of the console.this is to stop 2 users to have concurrent control of the console.

Re: What is ^Ecf

The ^E is the Control Key that you have to keep pressed while you press the E key at the same time.

Then you continue by pressing the c key and then the f key.

Cooperation is doing with a smile what you have to do anyhow.

Re: What is ^Ecf

This key sequence is used to gain write access to the session. Once you entered GSP and there're another users logged in, you have to press these keys to throw him out of GSP. As you absolutely correctly noticed that sometimes you have to issue the same sequence when returning from GSP to the console
