apache2-2.2.8 from hpux.connect.org.uk on 11.11

I downloaded and installed all of the following (apache last):

apache2-2.2.8-hppa-11.11.depot
db-4.7.25-hppa-11.11.depot
expat-2.0.1-hppa-11.11.depot
gdbm-1.8.3-hppa-11.11.depot
gettext-0.17-hppa-11.11.depot
libiconv-1.12-hppa-11.11.depot
openssl-0.9.8h-hppa-11.11.depot
zlib-1.2.3-hppa-11.11.depot.gz

Following this I modified the httpd.conf to set the User and Group. Trying to start the server, I get:

root: /usr/local/apache2/bin: ./apachectl start
./apachectl[80]: 12924 Bus error(coredump)

I checked that all files installed were correctly owned and even chmod'd all the apache files to 777 with no change to the problem.

So my question, anyone else recently downloaded and installed this Apache binary on HP-UX 11.11? I've had good results with connect.org.uk binaries until now.

Shalom,

1) I do not believe you have gotten all the pre-requisites. See the pages and get the pre-requisites of the pre-requisites.

2) http://software.hp.com has a more complete package that has the pre-requisites built in search for apache or hpws.

None of the modules required by Apache have any run-time dependencies other than each other.

I started down this path when the official HP Apache download was unavailable. Other options are not the answer to my posted question: Does this binary download work for you on HP-UX 11.11 ?
