disk initialization

Hi there

I have an N class server with 11i version of HPUX.

One of the disks faild so I've replaced it with new one.

ioscan -fnCdisk says:

Disk 3 0/5/0/0.8.0.255.0.0.0 sdisk NO_HW DEVICE SEAGATE ST39102FC
/dev/dsk/c3t0d0 /dev/rdsk/c3t0d0

I was trying insf -e, but it didnt help.
I was trying other disks, and sytuation is the same.

I dont want to reboot the system.

Is there any other way to make system notice the disk is there ?
