Need assitance what went wrong.

We migrated the server from one location to another and changed ip details and all on HP Tru64 UNIX V5.1B

and sftp is working fine.So FTP is disabled by default ?? or did we miss to do some changes ??

Urgent assitance would be really appreciated.

Re: ftp disallowed only for non root user and C2 Security enabled Advanced

Hi Steven,

Thanks

I am trying to do FTP on the local server and remote server from Non-root user its gives me below error..

Server1> ftp Server1.test.com
ftp: Unknown Host Server1.test.com
A system error occured; error code found in errno
ftp>

And when I do FTP from root account its works successful and I am able to do FTP from outside network to the server.

secconfig is advanced
