Re: hp ux problem with vgreduce

Why make life hard?

Why not follow the official procedures?

http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-1236/When_Good_Disks_Go_Bad_WP.pdf

There is no need to "un-mirror" the bad disk, a "pvchange -a n ..." is the way to go.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: hp ux problem with vgreduce

There was an older document without the "_WP" - this is gone.

The newer also covers 11.31.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
