what does this status mean ?
how can i check whether my drive is jam or not ?

This output means, tape is there in this drive.
Rewind it if u want to check whether tape is jam or not.
Rewind can be done from command only check man page of mt for more infor.

The status is provided in words after the hex number in []. There doesn't seem to be any problems.
