"The desktop messaging system could not be started" HP-UX 11.23

Hi All,

While starting the vncserver, we are getting the following error

"The desktop messaging system could not be started".

It is not opening a CDE  or dt window and it is opening a windows file manager and terminal which is greyed out.

We could not see the workspace menu or  any other CDE desktop options.    /root/.dt/startlog shows that it is started successfully. But when i click ok on the above error message, the vnc X session gets killed.

How to troubleshoot to get the workspace menu?

How to check that it takes all colors not monochronous.

Attached the picture, left window is the erroneous gray window and right hand side is what required CDE.

Please help us.
