read disk error

Hi ,

I had a system panic due to bad swap area. I need to confirm by having dd command read the swapvol. I swap area is configured as swapvol which is vxvm.
My command for dd would be
dd if=/dev/vx/dsk/rswapvol of=/dev/null bs=1024k is that right?
