reducing swap sapce

I am added 4gb disk to vg00 .I extended size of swap . How i can reduce dev swap space .

Why would you like to reduce your dev swap ( assuming it's your primary swap )?

Remember that swap have to be least the same amount of physical memory. If you reduce this size and you do not have pseudo-swap enable you are going to run into some issues.

Well, to reduce, thinking you already check those small details:

comment the entry for swap in the fstab, reboot your box, do an lvreduce on that device, enable swap again, put the entry back in the fstab file
