Re: strange veritas/disk issue

Shalom,

insf -C disk

That command sets up disk devices.

Appears a disk went down on you, or something is wrong in /etc/lvmtab

That does not in any way explain the crash.

vi /etc/rc.config.d/savecrash

If the first variable is set to 1 then you have a crash dump that you may wish to look at and run q4 analsys on.

Re: strange veritas/disk issue

Thanks fo the reply SEP.

we have a crash dump which is being analyzed, I am simply concerned about why veritas cannot initialize the disk, and the OS can see it?

Re: strange veritas/disk issue

Oh yes! I have also tried insf -C and insf -C disk -e -H 0290.2/22//2/2 and many other variations...
