Re: users & quotas
How do you turn off disk quotas for a selected user? The System
Administration Tasks manual shows me how to handle quotas for a user who will
be removed from the system. But how do you remove quota for a user who will
REMAIN in the system, but not be subject to disk quota?
Solution
The method is the same - use edquota to set the user's quota to zero. This
effectively removes his quota, and he will no longer appear in the quota
reports consequently they'll have an unlimitted quota.
