Autogen recommendation value query
Customer is having BL860/BL870 server unning open VMS ver 8.4; It is 5 node cluster. Before goig any application change customer ask about any system parameter recommendation which we give based on Autogen values. In Auotogen report agen$params.report we check max obeserved value by the system and suggest to change. After changing to suggested max value in sysgen we reboot the server since static value. next day onward we again observed changed recommendation after running autogen which is more than the setted value.
Please eloborate the reason why system has recommended more value again though there is no load change or application change made.

Re: Autogen recommendation value query
Without knowing what parameter is being referenced, it is difficult to explain anything. As with file cabinets, any parameter limit that is increased will likely be consumed and more will be requested.
Please provide a list of the parameters referenced and perhaps a description of the workload on the cluster. That should give us a clue and perhaps allow some level of explanation.

Sure, when you elaborate what the issue is. Honestly, people don't mind helping but we're not mind readers.
