Re: ITO Agent Not Running

"/sbin/init.d/Rpcd start" will start RPC/DCE. The OVO agent will not start unless RPC/DCE is running.

Re: ITO Agent Not Running

Thank you.

However, rpcd is running. The only ito processes running are opcctla, opcmsga and opcacta. opcle, opcmona and opcmsgi start but then fail. The opcerror log contains the error messages as above.

Re: ITO Agent Not Running

You are not communicating with RPC/DCE. Recycle the daemon.

If that doesn't work, reboot the system:

Re: ITO Agent Not Running

Tried restarting daemon, then I rebooted but he problem still persists. Currently only opcctla, opcmsga and opcactc are running. I have also tried deinstalling and re-installing agent and templates, no change error message read the same.

Re: ITO Agent Not Running

Check the rpc mapping:

rpc show mapping

Check the IP address being used. If it is not right, do:

rpc remove mapping

then recycle RPC/DCE.

Also check your DNS entries.
