Colorado T3000 Errors
Lately, I have not been able to backup. HP Colorado Backup II and a Colorado
T3000 drive are installed on my computer, which used to be operate as the
server. Each night I backup the contents of the server. First, all but one of
the tapes (Imation TR-3)ceased to work. Formatting the tapes didn't resolve
the problem. Now both the one working Imation tape and our brand-new HP TR-3
tape have developed the same error: "Parsing or Logic Error". What does this
mean and how can I resolve it?
P.S. This thread has been moved from General to Tape Backup (Small and Medium Business). - Hp Forum Moderator

Re: Colorado T3000 Errors
I just recently had a hard drive with some bad data areas and had to replace it. I copied the HP subdirectory information from the old drive to the new drive and then installed the HP colorado backup software. I now have the same error. Since the old drive vs. the new drive may have different registered components from the Win98 install, this is where I'm going to look next.
I tried an uninstall but forgot that you have to be a rocket scientist to go through the correct HP uninstall. Hope they fix that soon too.
Let me know if someone has an exact answer.
thanks.
