SureStore T20 w/ Colorado software

I have a customer with a T20 drive running Colorado Backup ver 7.0. A manual backup will run fine but a scheduled backup will start then just stop somewhere in the middle and never finish. The tape acts like it is still reading and no errors appear but the job never finishes. I'm looking for any advice I can get. Thanks in advance.

Bit of a long shot here but is there screen savers in the background or is there any power saving options enabled?
