Writing Problem
We have MSL 4048 LTO4 Ultrium 1840 Fibre Channel tape library, I inserted 14 no's LTO4 cartridge under library, when I scan through Data Protector 6.1, 12 no's cartridge shows unknown thatswhy i am unable to write. How to resolve this problem ?? Please help me.

If that media is brand new, select them (one at a time, or all at once with shift-click), right-click, and select "format".
If they have been used in another cell and you want to preserve the data protector data on them, there's another option -- scan, or import, I can't remember now -- but it will read the tape and bring the catalog into Data Protector.
