error in log NSR

Hello,

Can anyone explain me, wat the following line in the event log of a NSR e1200-320 means? At the same moment I get an error in Commvault Simpana while performing a restore from that client.

UA 6/29/00 on cmd x08 from FCP Host x2d1200/C9:40:00:4C for SCSI Lun 0/3/0 Rte

Commvault says a scsi reset is performed on the bus. Is that what this line tells me, or at least tries to tell me?

Regards,

Bart

Re: error in log NSR

That message indicates that the device you were attempting to communicate with reported a non-specific reset.  It could be a SCSI bus reset, it could be a power cycle, it could be some other kind of reset.  There are more specific codes that can be returned but the device on the other side of the NSR may just use the generic version.
