Accessing LTO cartridge memory (CM)

Does HP provide any tools at all for accessing the Cartridge Memory (CM)?  How can I read out all the properties of my tapes that are stored in the CM?  I am running on Linux and did not see any such option in HP Library and Tape Tools or the HP StoreOpen tools.  How do people usually do this?
