Firmware Updates

I have a Compaq dual 4/8 GB DAT drive, S/N D753HGK10012. I cannot get the TSMC or Rompaq to recognize the drives to download firmware. It appears that a HP firmware was downloaded to these devices as they appear as "HP C1533" drives. How can I upgrade the firmware back to Compaq?

The tape drive is a Compaq model tape drive C1533 . Please see the following for the firmware upgrade .
